What is Buttock Aesthetics?

Buttock aesthetics includes various procedures designed to reshape, lift, or enhance the buttocks. These can include fat transfer, silicone implants, or suspension techniques—applied depending on the patient’s needs. The goal is to address concerns such as sagging, flatness, or asymmetry due to weight changes, ageing, or genetics.

Who Can Receive Buttock Aesthetics?

Anyone experiencing deformities in the buttock area that affect their confidence or appearance may consider these procedures. Common concerns include sagging, flattening, or disproportionate shape due to weight loss, age, or genetic structure.

The method used is customised to the patient:

Fat injection is suitable if enough fat can be harvested via liposuction.

Silicone implants are used when insufficient fat is available.

Suspension (lift) techniques are ideal in cases of severe sagging.

Choosing the right method is essential for successful results.

How is Buttock Aesthetics Performed?

There are four primary methods:

  1. Exercise: A preventative method; not always sufficient alone.
  2. Fat Injection: Fat is harvested from other areas, processed, and injected into the buttocks for volume and shape.
  3. Implants: Silicone prostheses are used when fat transfer is not viable.
  4. Suspension: Involves removing excess skin and lifting the area—best for severe sagging.

Each method aims to achieve a fuller, more lifted, and youthful buttock appearance.

Post-Op Considerations

  • Follow your doctor’s instructions closely.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol during recovery.
  • Wear a compression garment (corset) as directed.
  • Be cautious with movement, especially sitting and standing.
  • Avoid sports until cleared—usually two months post-op.
  • Maintain strict hygiene to prevent infection.

Benefits of Buttock Aesthetics

  • Resolves sagging or disproportionate appearance.
  • Creates a fuller, lifted, and defined silhouette.
  • Enhances confidence and body image.
  • Clear improvement in social life and self-esteem.

Recovery Process

  • Corset should be worn for 3–6 weeks.
  • Bruising, redness, and swelling are normal and temporary.
  • Most healing occurs in 10 days, but full results emerge after 6 months.
  • The first 10 days require extra care, especially with hygiene.
